Kids get in the bleeping bath with LUSH ‘ickle baby bot’ bath bomb.

We love a good Lush splurge in this household, the scent of ‘lush’ is iconic, and recently the kids began showing an interest in my colourful, fizzy treasures… So when I found one ideal for them? You better believe I blooping bought it!

Ickle baby bot bath bomb at first glance looks amazing, It instantly attracted the eyes of my 3 and 6-year-old, both of them jumping excitedly to the idea of partaking in some of the ‘bath-time fun’ mommy dearest gets to have…

I’ll say that loosely shall I? ‘Gets to’

So for a wonderfully priced £2.25 (price correct as of 05/09/18), I popped one into the cart.

IBB arrived fairly quickly and was packaged well.  I have to admit I wasn’t chuffed at seeing packing peanuts* all over the shop, however, they did the job at keeping ickle baby bot all in nuts and bolts piece and the kids couldn’t wait to check him out.  Admiring the robot model, my son, in particular, loved the colour,

I t  l o o k s  s o o t h i n g ”  he remarked.

Once placed in water, IBB frothed and fizzed well, creating patterns in our bathtub akin to clouds in a bright summer sky.  Its scent was also incredibly gorgeous; whilst at times lavender can be quite intense, IBB is somewhat mild, it’s perfect for little and big noses alike and of course, calming.

Suitable from 6 months onwards, I knew this would also be incredibly gentle on their skin too and it proved to be exactly that! My son suffers urticaria with a lot of ‘household soaps’ and laundry products – IBB kept his skin perfectly balanced! Winningggg!

Did it help them sleep? I’d be inclined to say no, but I’m not entirely sure, for our current situation, however, it didn’t make a difference to their usual routines (they’re good sleepers for the majority of the time though!)

Overall the kids are bowled over with Ickle baby bot and its charming beaming smile.  Would we grab it again? Totally!

I think they’ve since caught the LUSH bug now though… My bank balance is BLARPING DOOMED!

*since the post went live, we’ve been informed by Lush that the packing peanuts are indeed made of potato starch, and therefore 100% biodegradable – YAY!

  1. My dog, Tikka, confirms that the peanuts are totally edible too.

I’m not surprised your kids love that little robot. I’m also not surprised it didn’t really help them fall asleep faster.

I’m kind of glad we don’t have a bath tub (baths aren’t as popular here as they are in the UK) because I’d be spending *even* more money than I already do!

    1. Omg really?! I could not live without my bath! It was the main thing I wanted when buying a house 👀😂

Yeah, I don’t feel it helped routine at all, but they had a lot of fun with it! I had to laugh that Tikka has eaten the packing peanuts!!
