ZaraLouUBlogs: Organii range review

Organii have made it pretty simple for me – Organic, unique products sourced from around Europe, readily available to purchase here in the UK at an amazingly good price.

If I can afford organic anything I’ll buy it.  We all know it’s good when it comes to food, so why not skin too? I want to know that whatever I’m using is actually good for me – even more so for my kids!

Which is where Organii steps in for me.  Offering a wide variety of toiletry based products that I know are better for the environment, sustainable, and gentle but still effective on mine, and their skin.

So, what did I try you say? I dabbled with 3 products from Organii’s range which included – the Shea butter shower gel, the neutral liquid hand soap and a lime tree blossoms bar soap.

Well first things first, I adore the packaging, it’s simple but has such a pure charm to it – I love when packaging is just neat (am I alone here?) The simplicity and ‘straight to the point’ nature of this stuff is what lures me into looking at it.  I really dislike busy packaging when it comes to products I want to use on my body, kinda like Ronseal – I want it to do what it says on the tin…tube…cylindrical carton in which the product is housed (ooh get me)

Another thing which is amazing? All 3 of these products are free from SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate – it’s the stuff that creates the foaming in products, and responsible for stripping oils from the skin too boooooo hisssss) and colourants! Most of them are also free from parabens, PEG, phthalates suitable for vegans and use 100% natural origin perfumes – pretty awesomesauce eh?

Ok so let’s delve in, first up, the Lime tree blossoms bar soap.  I utterly adored the scent of this, it was a mixture of sweet and zingy smells and not overpowering at all – it was fresh and pleasant and I also found at times that it would scent my bathroom the morning after it had been used (well that’s another win, no?) It also lathers really well for an SLS free product and because it’s made using essential oils it didn’t dry out my already dry skin booyaaaaah.  Oh! And it’s like a gobstopper it’s lasting so, so long! At £2.95 it really is some magical, beautifully smelling bargain!

Then came the neutral liquid hand soap – now, I went for neutral because as a household we’d all be using this, and with two sensitive skinned kiddies, and myself too it just seemed wise to choose this neutral one! This soap works really well and one pump is enough to wash the hands – sometimes I end up using two pumps of a usual hand soap and as this hand soap is made without nasties and contains olive oil, our hands have been left feeling great and not dried out, this would be ideal for people who suffer skin issues  – especially if you wash your hands often.  Also? It isn’t perfumed! Woop woop! Even extra care for our finicky skin, be gone with you contact dermatitis!

I’m obviously saving the best till last… you know that right? The Shea butter shower gel was utterly divine.  In fact, I loved it so much that I saved it all for myself…

No shame.  Like at all.

This stuff was so gorgeously rich, it lathered insanely well for yet again, an SLS free product – a little went a LONG LONG way.  It left my skin feeling gorgeous, and I didn’t have a single reaction.  If I use conventional soaps I can usually find a random patch of dry skin pop up and it’ll irritate the heck out of me (especially when it’s on my back – how can I even scratch that with my t-rex arms?), I’ll also find slight pimples on the skin and it’s sometimes a nightmare, and as I’ve previously mentioned in another review, my calves can get super itchy.  In the 2-3 weeks that I’ve used these products religiously however, I have not once found a reaction. Pimples aren’t angry and I’m finding fewer of them – my calves aren’t as itchy either, although I don’t think they’ll ever not be itchy (quirks ‘n’ all that)

I also gave this product a dual purpose.  It makes an AMAZING bath foam – My sensitivity has really heightened to products in the bath since having my 2nd child, so bath products were kept to a minimum (Lush would be my best friend… when I could afford it) – but this was bliss, I had 3 weeks of solid bubble baths!

Do you even know the magic a bubble bath gives your gurl here?

I was happier than a pig in – well you know what! Honestly, heaven, MOTHER CHUFFING BUBBLE HEAVEN.  If I could have a vat of this stuff stuck on my bathroom wall I would, because it’s been a skinsend.

Overall me, and the kids – annnnnd the husband have been super impressed with this range by Organii avaliable to purchase here  – and I’m totally eyeing up their sun milks, as we react so badly to typical sun creams (but we need them being so pale!) and that Intensive organic body and face oil looks RIGHT up my street!

You can find Organii on social media here via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  Oh! And of course their main webpage here!

That’s it for this week guys! I’ll see your pretty face around here again soon *wink wink*
